January was filled with cozy moments, snowy adventures, and lots of laughter at Canterbury Creek Farm Preschool! Even on the coldest days, our students found joy in every experience. Here’s a peek at some of our favorite memories from the month.
Snowy Adventures & Sledding Fun
Winter on the farm is truly magical, and our students made the most of every snowy day! Sledding quickly became a favorite activity. From traditional sleds to creative options like pots, pans, and plastic shovels—our little ones showed off their imaginations and adventurous spirits.
The playground hills turned into exciting slopes for races, tumbles, and lots of giggles. When they weren’t sledding, the kids were busy making snow angels, rolling in the snow, and soaking up the crisp winter air. There’s nothing quite like outdoor play in January to keep energy and spirits high!
PJ and Waffle Day

To end the month, we celebrated one of our most loved events—PJ and Waffle Day! Students came to school in their coziest pajamas, ready for a day of comfort and fun. With help from some amazing parent volunteers, we served warm, delicious waffles during snack time.
The smiles were contagious as the children enjoyed their sweet treats. But the fun didn’t stop there! We hosted a Pajama Fashion Show, and each child had a turn to strut their stuff in front of friends and teachers. The pride on their faces made it a moment to remember.
Looking Ahead
As we move into February, we’re excited for more adventures, discoveries, and celebrations. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come at Canterbury Creek Farm Preschool!
