St. Patrick’s Day at Farm School was nothing short of magical, filled with leprechauns, gold coins, and plenty of mischievous fun! 🍀
This year, the children dove into a hands-on project: building their very own leprechaun traps. Using stickers, Lucky Charms, glue, tape, gold coins, and anything else they could find, the kids eagerly set to work designing traps to catch the sneaky little leprechaun. Some traps were simple, while others featured pulleys, trap doors, and even trip wires—talk about creativity! It was inspiring to see their imaginations and problem-solving skills in action as they worked together to craft their traps.
The Naughty Leprechaun Strikes Again!
When St. Patrick’s Day finally arrived, our world was turned upside down—literally! As expected, the naughty leprechaun couldn’t resist visiting Farm School and causing all sorts of mayhem. He managed to escape every single one of our traps (we’ll definitely have to step up our game next year!) and left a trail of chaos behind.
The classrooms were left in disarray, with tables and chairs toppled and green footprints leading to every corner of the school. The little trickster even got into our boxes of Lucky Charms, scattering them everywhere. And, of course, he didn’t stop there—he managed to turn the toilets a bright shade of green! It’s safe to say our leprechaun was in full mischief mode.

Green footprints and spilled Lucky Charms made for a magical, mischievous morning.
Fun Activities for All!
The excitement continued on the Farm School trail, where the children took part in a four-leaf clover rhyming activity that led to a pot of gold! Next, they embarked on a playground-wide gold coin search. The coins were scattered all around, and the kids raced to find as many as they could. Each coin discovered added a little extra magic to the day.
Finally, our biggest adventure: the Great Leprechaun Hunt! The children teamed up to search high and low for leprechauns hiding around the school. Everyone had a blast hunting for clues and imagining where that tricky leprechaun might be hiding.

A Day to Remember
St. Patrick’s Day at Farm School was packed with laughter, creativity, and plenty of surprises. From building leprechaun traps to chasing after gold coins, every moment was filled with excitement and joy. Although the leprechaun may have outsmarted us this year, the children’s ingenuity and teamwork were the true treasures of the day.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration—and maybe, just maybe, we’ll catch that pesky leprechaun!
Until next time, may the luck of the Irish be with you! 🌈🍀
